This is a high quality product that is easy to use. It is great to be able to walk and hike hands free with my dog. You can tell the clips and carabineer are rugged and will hold up to rough conditions.

excellent leash, after only a few days its my go-to. its my first hands-free leash and i love that can adjust it for over the shoulder or around my waist. great length and the helper handle is perfect for when i need my pup in close. the bright orange makes my dog easier to see, and its so easy to clean. even at the beach, the clip still worked great when gummed up with wet sand. super happy with it

I purchased this leash in November and am sharing a one-month review. I have a 1-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog weighing over 80 lbs, and this leash is exactly what I was looking for. It’s lightweight yet very sturdy, easy to wash, and holds up well even when my dog gets into a mess.

The self-locking mechanism works extremely well, and when my dog pulls, the leash doesn’t tighten around my body, which was a major concern for me. I love the flexibility of wearing it cross-body or around my waist without shortening the leash. My dog is leash-trained, so pulling is minimal and easy to correct. That said, if your dog pulls excessively, this may not be the right leash for you—basic leash manners are important with this style.

Despite his size and strength, my dog is well-behaved, which allows me to fully enjoy the hands-free design. It’s incredibly convenient to have free hands, whether I’m carrying something or keeping my hands in my pockets during insanely cold weather.

Things to know:
If you have a very small dog (under 20 lbs), this leash may feel too heavy for them.

What I’d love to see added:
A detachable option would make this leash even better—something that allows it to convert between hands-free and regular use, or the ability to purchase a detachable long line. The material is perfect for dragging over different surfaces, so this would be a great addition.

I love the vibrant color!! I really like that the waist band is a separate piece of material from the leash. other leashes end up being shorted if you need to extend the waist band. The quick release clip is a game changer on the waistband and I love the security of the twist lock carabiner that attaches to my dog’s harness. Great product!

I’ve had many leashes over the last 10 years and this one is by far our favorite. Love the soft plastic durable feel and the clip is awesome!

I do a lot of nature photography, and my 12 yr old golden mix Gibson is my constant companion. This leash fits my needs perfectly! I love that Gibson has some room to move around and that the actual leash length isn't affected by how much you loosen or tighten the part that clips around your body. The material is nice and lightweight, but it doesn't feel flimsy, and the best part is that I don't have to worry about it dragging through the elements and getting gross while I'm focusing on whatever I'm trying to photograph. It is truly more of a sky blue than an aqua or turquoise; I had hoped there would be a little bit more green in it (it can appear to lean a little more aqua-colored in some photos), but it is still very nice and I'm very happy with it! I've included photos that I hope accurately represent the color for those interested. Exactly what I was looking for and worth the money! The handwritten note with the package was a nice touch.

p.s. - my first dog was a little golden my family adopted from our neighbor, and her name was Camp - nickname Camper. I might be a little biased toward the founder and his golden Camper. Wishing you all the best!

I freaking love this leash more than life itself. This thing is a game changer, whether I’m taking my pup fishing or skiing I need my hands to be able to be free and this thing does it. The magnetic clips are a freaking game changer especially when it’s cold! And the best part is how this thing doesn’t get dirty and covered in mud. Seriously the only gear I’m getting for my pup the rest of my life!

So nice to have a hands free waist leash that’s perfect for taking the dog on walks around town. long enough to let her get her sniffs in, but short enough to keep her close if we get into a crowded area. The carabiner is also super easy to latch on and off (even while wearing gloves) when we hit areas of the local rec path where I can let the run dog free.

I love this leash so much. I run a ton with my dog, and I find it to be super comfortable and secure. The clasp is easy to use and the locking carabiner is great. Plus, even if we’re out in the rain or mud it stays looking clean! I prefer this leash to my Ruffwear one because I also find the stretchiness on these types of leashes from other brands to be really annoying. Goes without saying the leash matches my Howl House collar perfectly of course 😉

We are loving this new collar. I have MS and my hands do not work well all of the time. The magnetic clasp is so easy to maneuver. My golden loves water, mud and anything messy. This collar is super easy to clean and never smells. Highly recommend it!

I absolutely love my new HH leash! I came across this product randomly and was immediately impressed with the high quality and thoughtful design. After using it, I appreciate it even more! The silicone coating over the nylon provides a great grip and is easily rinsable for a like-new appearance every time. Adjusting the waist belt doesn’t affect the leash length and is not binding if my dog pulls, a definite plus! The added handle is a great feature when you need your pup close and the auto-locking carabiner attachment point gives an added layer of security. I am recommending this leash to all my dog loving friends, it is worth every penny!!!
